Sunday

Well. Today we started the first of the ‘worlds’…Sea World!
Okay, so first up today we went to the bistro at this holiday park for a buffet breakfast. There was a large selection of different things like pancakes, bacon, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, juice and cereals! It was very nice! We came back to the cabin quickly, then left for Sea World. We got there about half an hour before it opened, which was good as the lines were already quite long and grew very quickly! Mum and Dad had a coffee and then we set off to explore Sea World! First we went on what they called a ‘gondola’ which was like a series of small cabs that hung from overhead cables. Sort of like those things in the snow, just smaller. Then we watched a dolphin show where the dolphins performed a lot of amazing flips and other exciting tricks! Straight after the show, we got to actually pat one of the dolphins! Her name was Diva. We also had a photo taken while we were patting the dolphins. We also (and this is in no particular order) went on the Viking ride. On the Viking ride we all sat in a boat like thing and slowly floated down a man made stream, and the it dropped down a big hill, it was not vertical but it felt almost vertical! It was the type that makes your stomach go up into your throat! We also saw a play with Sea Lions. It was very well done, very clever! Mum and Tess went on a very fast and scary roller coaster like ride called the ‘Jet Rescue’. (Dad and I chicken out!) Apparently it goes at 70km per hour! Tess and Mum said they kind of enjoyed it, but wouldn’t rush back on it. We also saw a Jet Ski Extreme stunt show. It was quite spectacular! We left Sea World around 4.40 and went to a Japanese grocery store for a look. Afterwards we went for dinner at ‘the Sushi Train’, it was Tess’ first time at a sushi train and we all enjoyed it, although it is amazing how quickly the pile of finished plates can grow!! It has been a long, fun and exciting couple of days so far. Tomorrow we are planning to go Movie World!

Lucky you getting have close up with dolphins! That’s something you’ll always remember.

Yey Tess, you daredevil. See, aren’t you glad I made you (albeit inadvertently) go on the scenic railway at Luna Park? You’re braver than me!

Looking forward to hearing about Movie World.
