Day 28 Paris 17/7/15

We had a big sleep in then went sight seeing day in Paris.

We saw the outside of a modern art gallery called the Pompidou Centre. This was designed by Renzo Piano who was also the Architect who designed the Sydney opera house!

As It is very hot here they have some cool misters to help you cool off!

We saw the out side of Notre Dame cathedral, but we didn’t go in because the queue was MASSIVE!

We also went in the Palace of Versailles where the king and queen of France lived before the French Revolution when they got beheaded.

This was a selfie taken in the mirror below.

We had dinner at a crepe restaurant in Versailles. We had a crepe for main and for dessert!!

  1. The famous buildings in Paris are SO spectacular. So much wealth in one room. Karen, just letting you know, I got my Brodinsky painting. I still love it ! Pride of place on the dining room wall. My version of Versaille! Enjoy the rest of your sight seeing.

  2. Absolutely incredible buildings, the mirror selfie very clever , looks fantastic. Looking forward to more. LOL xxxx By the way minus 3.5 deg thus morning, pretty drive to Bendigo this morn white frost everywhere.

  3. Brings back memories of studying French and my visit to Paris all those years ago! As I keep saying – lap up that warm weather. We had the coldest morning for 18 years in Vic yesterday!!
