Day 24 Litchfield National Park

Today we came to Litchfield National park. On the way we were held up for a short while because of road works. See Dad’s vote for the best looking road worker in Australia in the photo. We had lunch of Barramundi at the Adelaide River pub. After lunch we went to the WWll war cemetery. It was very well looked after. When we got there we went to the camp ground but it was full so we had to go on to the next camp ground. This will be our first two night stay without power! We set a camp fire and just sat around. Then had dinner cooked on the camp fire.

  1. Yum, what’s cooking? Hope you enjoy Litchfield and some great swimming. At least your nights will be lovely for sitting around the camp fire. Have you seen any crocs?? George likes the road worker except for the cigarette in her hand! We love the termite photo.
Guess you are probably heading for Darwin now?
Lots of love and hope your batteries are well charged! G and m

  2. AAhh, Litchfield National Park. Swimming in Buley Rockhole was lovely. Take a walk to the waterfall. We did it before breaky when no one was around. That is some termite mound girls. They’re everywhere, aren’t they? Are you going to go to Darwin, considering you’re practically there?

  3. That is one big termite mound!! I’m sure many men would agree with Gerard!
And the camp oven is cooking some beautiful meals. Yummy.
    Barramundi is very nice 🙂
