Today we drove to Rubyvale. We set up then went to a Saphire fossicking place. We got a bucket to look through. You have to scoop some dirt and rock onto the sieve then sieve the sand and dirt away then wet it and slosh it around in the water. You then look for saphires. There are a few different colours like green, blue and a creamy one called zircon. We didn’t fined many big ones though. We then went for a walk down the street and looked in some gem shops.
